improved portability and useability

Theme creating in xaraya is a snap when you know how, and very flexible. However, two key issues i have had with themes in xaraya is portability, and usability for the end user (theme customizer whoever they be).

Theme templates and CSS can always be edited directly to customize them. Not a problem. There are also common core module variables that can be relied on for use in themes.

Theme variables provide the theme creator with a means to package their theme as they want, with for example specific content links or css. Having the theme tied to content blocks, or links and so on is often inevitable; but what if these key components or attributes were stored as theme variables? What about CSS rules that the theme creator feels could be varied reasonably within their theme? Theme variables can be customized, author definable, and portable - with the theme.

Xarigami theme vars provide an easy mechanism for users to change the theme vars in Theme administration UI. It allows theme creators to communicate customization features of their theme, and theme customizers to take advantage of them quickly from the UI. A portability and usability improvement for xarigami core.
