XarTinyMCE is a Xaraya Module based on TinyMCE, a platform independent web based Javascript HTML WYSIWYG editor released as Open Source under LGPL by Moxiecode Systems AB.

xarTinyMCE module integrates the TinyMCE application for use within your Xaraya web site. Easily integrated automatically into Articles, xarPages or any textarea by designating it as a xartinymce wysiwyg DD property.

It has a number of nice features with multiple browser support, (currently Mozilla, MSIE, FireFox, Opera and Safari) and support for XHTML markup. There are powerful features that allow fine grained control over allowed xhtml tags (like the Xaraya HTML module), attributes, and attribute values.

You can enhance xarTinyMCE further with some of the bundled plugins specifically created or updated for Xaraya and available on this site.

Non-bundled plugins available from this site include xarTinymce versions of :

• iBrowser image browser (with phpthumb, upload, crop/resize on upload, popup images)
• iManager full image browsing, upload and editing online with all the features of iBrowser plus ehanced editing.

Customizable editor panel - make it as complex as simple as you like.

requirements

For the 1.x xarTinyMCE series:

• Xaraya Core 1.1.2 or above, or Xarigami cumulus/cirrus versions of core.
• Xaraya or Xarigami HTML module

For the 3.x xarTinyMCE series:

• Xaraya Core 1.1.5 or above, or Xarigami cumulus/cirrus versions of core.
• Not that some UI display features will not be available if using Xaraya core althouth the module itself will be fully functional.

Version 1.6.0 integrating upstream tinymce3.x enhancements and new plugins. Available from the 1.6.0 download page or the Dev Build download area.

xarTinyMCE 3.0.4 with  fully rewritten code in the 3.x series,  integrating upstream tinymce 3.x enhancements for multiple wysiwyg configurations as well as better access to all tinymce options, autoloading and reworked User Interface. Versions less than 3.0.0 are not compatible. If upgrading please remove any versions of xarTinyMCE < 3.0.0 and then reinstall the new version.
